September has arrived

Pejam celik, now dah September. Eid is approaching very soon, about 4 days to go and honestly I'm in raya mood already. I'll be on leave after raya, sadly the raya eve I will have to work :( Hopefully boleh balik awal dari biasa.... OMG can't wait!!!!! Have sorted out duit raya, senang..... Sebab boleh plan berapa ada lebih.... I have favouritism issue so the good ones will get more, sorry kids. U want more, be good to me. I don't care what ur parents nak ckp. It's my money. In regards to the raya preps, not so much la since dah adult ni. Only tempah satu baju kurung moden, and I have the one time engagement tu, so pakai balik aje lah. Kasut raya beg raya etc tak penting........ Long gone. This is the last raya as an individual insyaAllah if everything goes according to plans....... Anxious jgk :p

And why September is extra special? Because it's my birthday month!! But I don't expect many things, malas.. Nanti kecewa, so we'll see how it goes about that...

Had numerous iftar with friends tapi selalu takde amek gambar pun... So recently had an iftar with geng safiyyah time kat uia, minus Hani because she's now working in Brunei already. It was good, love them all. We went to KLCC and then lepak mamak.... I couldn't keluar awal, so kesian diorg tunggu lama... But anyhoots, it was great :)

It takes TWO to Tango

I bet many people can assume what is the topic all about. Yes, in malay language it says "bertepuk sebelah tangan tidak akan berbunyi"

Honestly, being an adult we do not intend to be an inspector every single time we meet our bf/fiance/hubby and whatnots. But when we dont, things can actually get haywire. In short, do not trust the other half too much that in the end it will cost a heartbreak to yourself. When it happened behind your back, u surely become devastated and damage has been done, no turning back to repair things. All u can do is suck it, move on. Take it or leave it. The wound will never be healed in a short period of time, and when u dont feel right, u intend to bring the past up to satisfy urself and blame everything on ur bf/fiance/hubby. And damage will prolong.

I am not the type who will ambush the third party. I will blame the other half dulu because it really takes two to tango. On the other hand, I am praying that Allah swt will return the same disastrous to the third party. Always have this in mind that karma is really a bitch. The world is round, the wheel is moving.. Doesnt mean u will always be on top, u will be at the most bottom when the time is right. By then only, u wud know how it feels to be the victim.

From my personal judgements (not being perasan or bongkak) but then she is never my standard. But things really did happen and I hope it will not happen again. It is really hard for me to face the thruth, kept saying to myself that it was never a dream.

Hello.

Fyi, my 7 years Dell laptop has died on me last Tuesday. I was too sad, it helped me a lot during my uni years. But hey, I think it's about time to change, if it didn't die then I won't change. I didn't have the intention to buy so soon coz I have so many other things to consider.

So today I went to the pasar tani with my mother, saje teman die sebab fikir dok rumah takde buat apepe. Went straight to Carrefour after that since she wanted to get some groceries. Went to see the laptops hehe. So without any intention, I bought a HP laptop in white. Hence the title. Worth it jugak la sebab I only use laptop for internet, pictures and dvd. Nothing really requires me to purchase laptops which cost big bucks. So far, it's perfect for myself. Perfect size weight and nice la :)

Easier for me to carry around :-)

The delayed E post

Let me just continue with my engagement post (wayyy delayed post). This is going to be a really long entry (and tomorrow is Monday ya'll, but I still want to rant about it).

Date : 26 June 2010 (Saturday)
Time : After Zohor, started at around 3 pm
Place : Home, Bukit Jelutong Shah Alam
Attire : Chiffon material tailor made by my mother's long-time chinese tailor, then it was sent for beadings
Make up : Bobbi Brown, Subang Parade
Guests : Close family and friends only
Theme : Pink &; white (main taram saje)
Hantaran : Self made, dulang pinjam my mother's friend's since anak die pun baru engaged. It was very simple, we used fresh flowers to 'hidupkan' the simple hantaran. I love fresh flowers.

• From her to him : Shirt, bunga rampai, sirih junjung, cake and fruits (5 dulang)
• From him to her : Telekung + tafsir Quran, ring + tepak sirih, batik crepe material (my aunty bought in Terengganu) + chocolates (3 dulang)

Mini pelamin : Backdrop sewa, colour was a bit tacky (sadly) but luckily my aunty added fresh roses left and right and then it looked nice :) Kerusi tu my aunty punya, we all pinjam. Carpets were ours, and my aunties.
Food & Tent : Mother's choice.

Twas a very simple ceremony. Even though it was very simple, I still wanted it to look nice and pretty. Hence we used fresh roses (decors) & daisies (for hantaran) sponsored by my maksu :) Alhamdulilah it all went very well. I love fresh flowers, it makes everything look nice and pretty (to my opinion it is).

The ring was chosen by me, people call it as an "eternity" ring. Pieces of diamonds are all around the ring, tenggelam. My choice always. Well, actually the ring was supposed to be the 'merisik' ring as we didn't plan to have engagement ceremony but then when Jab's family came for merisik, his mother suggested to have engagement since I am the first in my generation to get hitched first. So there goes :)

We didn't hire any official photographer (which I kinda regret actually), pictures were from random cameras, mainly Fad's. So here goes, some of the pictures taken ;)

Salam & hello all

I've been meaning to write a descent post about my engagement but there are a lot of distractions. Hehe. Btw, today is my mother's birthday. Happy birthday to her! Bought "nasi mandi kambing" from al-Rawsha at Jln Damai Ampang for her since she had this nasi arab cravings. Alhamdulilah, she loved it so much. The nasi mandi kambing was very very good. Actually, I've never tried any real Arabic food (mind u) but twas really goooooood :) I'll go again and have a descent meal for myself soon..

I've been going to Ikea for the past 3 weeks (straight!) to look-see furniture for our future home (insyaAllah). And man, Ikea is the one place u would never go during weekends! Well, I didn't want to go if there were any other options. The crowd was freaking crowded! Dah macam pasar malam, seriously!! We got what we wanted, and then we went off. Serious tak larat! We want Ikea furniture sebab contemporary and nice for an apartment. Tapi mmg sakit hati lah. Aiseh.

Went to see my aunty, discussed about my nikah and reception theme, colour, tailor, attire and etc. Hence the title.... Now, I am confused.

It was a great weekend in Redang. Would love to go again some other time especially during the month of May or June. As they said, at that time the beach is very beautiful. Made new friends and the trip changed my interest, I am now so keen to join diving class please!

I dont know what else to write. Great trip, great company, awesome place, great times, beautiful sandy beach, beautiful island, beautiful underwater creatures and everything else was beautiful, MasyaAllah. When we woke up in the morning, there was the clear blue sea water waiting for us to "mandi". Hehe ;)

Ramadhan is coming really soon

Salam & morning all

I was awake at 6am on a Saturday morning to the azan Subuh but I cannot pray. So I check my fb msg and there was a reply fr my friend. She told me that her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer about a month ago. Now her mother is experiencing chemotherapy therapy n radiation or something like that. I became so sebak alongside the azan. Sungguh besar kuasa Allah swt utk menguji umat Dia. I just advised her to be strong and doa a lot to Allah swt because in this matter, no one else may help except HIM. I just couldn't imagine if such thing happens to me. Nauzubillah, mintak dijauhkan semua itu. Amin

On another note, Ramadhan is approaching very soon. Alhamdulilah, this year insyaAllah I may do Terawikh without having to worry like last year because I am working on a normal time working basis. No more evening or night shift weekdays or weekends. Alhamdulilah. I am so grateful for that. I just hope I can do Terawikh smoothly insyaAllah. And I would want to have a dream, to be fasting and celebrate 1st Syawal in Mecca insyaAllah. I just wish for that since I don't know when. Taktau bila ?

Hello from Redang

I'm currently in Redang ya'll. Alhamdulilah, after 6 hours of traveling by bus last nite, with abt an hour boat ride, I've safely arrived here. The beach is breathtaking and very beautiful. Subhanallah.

Am here with Fadilla and Junainah. The room isn't bad at all, semi-d type chalet. They provide food, but the food is tasteless. Bagus la, if not makan byk. Hehe. Will be back in KL on Sunday by FireFly.

Rugi tak beli byk junk foods, air etc sebab food provided sucks. Makanan mahal nk beli kt kedai. Pasrah je lah.

Weekend Gateway

Hello all

I've been delaying my engagement post. My laptop is not helping because die lembab n asyik hang. It's time to change but I have many other priorities la. Nanti laa.

Tomorrow is Friday and I'll be on leave. Why? Because I'm going to Redang! Will be taking bus from Hentian Putra to Kuala Terengganu tonight. Can't wait! So excited. Hopefully I could go off from work early *fingers crossed* will be back on Sunday by Firefly. I don't hope much on the hotels sbb we paid a cheap fee for everything so u cannot expect a 5 stars accommodations kan.

I'm listing the things needed so that I can remember la when I see this post;

Tshirts, leggings, toiletries, baju balik KL, digicam, dslr, keys, tudung etc etc.

Delayed

I owe this blog one of the most important event of my life but I don't have the mood to think and write, post pictures and what not. Tunggu je lah. It has been 2 weeks since I'm engaged. I can say that, things are tougher kot. Biarlah, malas nak layan.

Bedtime Story

Didn't go to the gym today because I had a meeting with all operations people. Talk nonsense for 2 hours +, ridiculous. I hate it when my time is wasted for nothing. I could go home early tadi sbb everything was finished by 515pm and that's the earliest in my record. I was supposed to have an appointment with a personal trainer at Celebrity Fitness (after a long due) but then I couldn't make it obviously. Bloordy manager, whatever she was saying can be said during morning briefing. Not that she can help improving anything pun, talk is cheap. Cakap je pandai. And then there's this one person who came for relief (because my branch doesn't have enough head count for daily operations) but mann, she's a pain in the ass. Two-face person, bajet bagus, tak mandi, messy, tak gosok baju, very messy looking with messy hari and terrible smell. Homg. You should see this person and you don't want to stand or be near her. Damn how can they stand themself? I wonder.

Talking abt prep, nothing much la today. Mother helped me to send the outfit for dry clean. Maybe dpt on Thursday kot, or by most Friday kan. The beadings are gorgeous u ols! Love the whole outfit :)

Ok. I have to go earlier than usual tomorrow. Can't wait for Thursday evening sebab Friday sy cuti...!

Eyebag?

I noticed that I already have eyebags under both eyes. Noooo! And my face skin isn't smooth like last time. Is it a sign of aging? Adoy. Currently I feel so tired sebab I went to gym after work. Tu pun I didn't work out so hard sbb taknak penat. One thing I don't like thhe consequence of working out at the gym is that, I will definitely feel hungy after. And I will eat whatever I feel like eating. Homg. Now that there're only a few days left before the E-day, I will look fat and I have eyebags. Noooo!! Pls stop eating Shael!!

Preparations so far ok. As of my room, I have bought the things I wanted at Ikea. Senang, sume ada at good prices. I bought langsir, day curtain, storage boxes (material kain), table lamp, bedside table and laundry basket. Friday nanti I'll be on annual leave so insyaAllah I'll get rid of the unwanted things from my petite room. Hehe

Less than a week

Hello all

Just to update abt the preps:
1. The outfit should be ready by 20 June, initially was 19 June but then tak sempat. Can't wait to see the final product. Must send for dry clean before 26 June.

2. Catering and back drop will be settled by parents.

3. Dulang and kain lapik for hantaran are settled. The things to be given as hantaran insyaAllah settled as 3 dulang will be done by my aunties and 2 dulang by myself. Alhamdulilah for all the helps and supports by family :)

4. Make up has been confirmed. I don't hire any specific make up artist. I have make up appointment by Bobbi Brown in Subang Parade at a good price. Appointment on the 26 June itself at 1130 am. Can't wait, hehe. Sebab I was never made up before EXCEPT for school prom in 2002.

5. Photographer probably friends and family. Adik Jab will be the main photog kot. Entah camne.

So far, that's about all. Anxious!!

1 more weekend

Salam and hello all

Pejam celik, pejam celik.. I have exactly one more weekend to go before the E-day. InsyaAllah the E-day will be held at my house in Bukit Jelutong. My outfit has been sent for beadings after the tailor finished sewing after abt 5 days, very special and I am very thankful indeed :) Catering will be settled by the mother. I will balas 5 dulang hantaran and the things are very basic, 3 of them have settled and 2 more to go. Air-cond has been installed in my room. I don't change any bed, tunggu my big W-day baru change the bed.

Ok, enough about all that sebab nanti tak thrill. Hehe. Tunggu~~

A bbq night for girls only was held on Saturday (12 June 2010) and it was one fun night. It was done at Fad's brother's semi-d house in Bukit Jelutong, and the place is very beautiful. I wish to have such house soon insyaAllah. We had awesome bbq food, truffle, macaroni and whatnots, pictures, cerita, gossip, laughed, cerita lagi etc and watched WC England vs USA. Some of the girls went to sleep faster than they thought, but Fad & I stayed up until the match ended. Woke up in the morning,  had the bbq leftovers for breakfast and then we ordered Domino's Pizza for lunch. I had a great weekend with the girls. I am going to remember this forever, friends since high school :)

Monday Blues

Hello all!

Alhamdulilah, it is raining outside. It has been quite hot and heaty these past few days. But tomorrow is a Monday, Monday is going to be even blue-er due to the cold night. Haha. Hopefully I can wake up as planned la.

The weekend was awesome. Spent abt 2 hours of working out at the gym on Saturday morning, lepak until petang then stayed home during the night - a rare thing since Feb 2010. As of today, went to pasar in the morning, kenduri kwn Jab kt Wisma Sejarah KL then had dinner at Nando's OU with a wee bit of shopping made by Jab. I have been lying on the bed with my blacberry on hand since at least half an hour ago. I want to have enough rest and sleep before the blues come!

Friends around are getting married. Some friends who got married last year, are already being pregnant and beranak! Wow. Time went by so fast and Una (one of my good friend) already gave birth to a healthy baby boy last Thursday if I'm not mistaken. Alhamdulilah. So who's next to get married?

The picture below was us when we were at Kuantan about a week ago. Stayed in Swiss Garden for one night. It was a very impromptu plan but twas awesome!

Wednesday

Hello

2nd week working as Operations Exect at HLB, life has been very hectic. No pause/rest at all except during lunch time. Accounts and cash must balance when the day ends and that sucks big time sbb everything is new, system taktau guna, no proper training etc. Stress jugak.

Btw, I've joint Celebrity Fitness to work out after work and during weekends & public hols. Love it so far, something to look forward everyday. I love working out, especially when the place is conducive and comfortable. It never fails me so far, which is good. Hehe. I used to consume Herbalife but I can't take it anymore, thus since I work in Taipan, the gym isn't that far to go either from work or home. My membership is at Sunway Pyramid :-)

Battery low

Hello all

Today was my 2nd day at HLB Taipan branch. The brand name is quite huge in Malaysian market, don't compare to Maybank & Public Bank. I was quite shock on my first day to see the branch physically as it's messy and not conducive. It's very tiring as it doesn't have enough space, only 1-story yeah, a very hectic branch and particularly not systematic. People, do banking online or go deal with banks like Maybank or HSBC. Most or 3/4 of the staff are chinese, then judge yourself. Some staff are very selfish, bajet bagus & not helpful at all. First day dah pressure & stress. They do not provide any proper training, I'm afraid if I can't be independent on time. The works are lengthy & tiring.

I don't know whether I can stay longer than Maybank or not. Ok I'm freaking sleepy. Gnite
