The 2nd Marriage of the #3rd Generations

My cousin, Farina got married. The akad nikah was held at Kelab Tasik Putrajaya whilst the combine wedding reception was held at Marriott Putrajaya. Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. Had to decorate her hantaran on the first night which I slept at 3am! (Had dinner at 1am!) I was down with high fever on the 2nd night. Twas a great family bonding time, with the whole Othman clan. Was one of her brides maid alongside Dilla. June was her maid of honour.
Bride's dress was designed by Syomir Izwa - just brilliant.
Pelamin, dress, make up and everything else were beautiful and mesmerizing.
Very very breathtakingly beautiful..

Knew her through Dilla and Aimi during secondary school. We were not that close last time, but we were in the same school hockey team. As time flies, we got closer. Night outs, karaoke, sleep over at Dilla's mainly (hehe), eat outs, more karaoke, makan and what girls do best - GOSSIPS!!
Still remember the day when she was one of the girls who saw me in tears dekat Murni's SS2. Hehe.

I may not be the perfect friend in your circle of friends. But I am so glad I could be part of your fairy tale team. Hehe. I bought another new piece of kaftan just for your reception just because no tailor wanted to accept my material (and it was kind of tough to get the silverish tone).
Hope my presence will make a memory in your fairy tale wedding which was SO beautiful.

Finally!!

Alhamdulilah.

We have been married for almost months now. Just received the soft copy pictures for both events yesterday. And have received 1 awesome custom-made album, 3 medium size photos + frames and 1 large size photo + frame. Overall, we are happy with the albums and pictures tho I looked wee bit over excited in most of the reception pictures! OMG!!

Tasha's Big Day!

We started our journey at 9am because we wanted to arrive early at the bride's place, and since Dayah pun nak sampai awal sbb nak balik awal (same case here). About 2 hours journey mcm tu, sampai rumah Tasha. Tak sempat pun tgk Tasha di ijab kabul sbb the time we arrived, they were already officially a husband and wife. Alhamdulilah.

When Things Are Going To Be Completely Different

2 Days to Go

Can u actually believe it? I'm speechless actually.

I've collected all the outfits yesterday (was supposed to collect on Monday-then Tuesday tapi ada a few little things tak settle lagi-finally yesterday baru everything siap). The personnel whom I dealt with was very nice so I didn't put pressure on her. I must say that, I love all the outfits (to my preference it is). Nothing exaggerate, just the way I want it to be :-)

Basically the colour for all three outfits:
1. Nikah - White + touch of silver + detailing of pearls, sequin and beads
2. My reception - Bila dah jadi baju, more to silverish grey + touch of pink (detailing)
3. Bertandang - Tiffany Blue + white

Well, do not expect something like Jovian's, Lynda Rahim's or who ever else's wedding dresses la. Hehe. Everything is simple but to me it's more than enough (went a bit off from budget though) *pening kepala*

Today: Am going to send pictures to be printed, go to the bank, beli bal lampu!! buy fruits for hantaran, meeting with the DJ and collect the cake for hantaran

Tomorrow: Will have to send chocs, fruits and cake for hantaran to the hantaran maker in Ampang, petang go threading and collect all hantaran bawak balik rumah, then malam pakai inai. My inai will be the traditional ones, no henna drawn will be drawn.... Get ready for Saturday.

I've yet to vacuum and mop the room, rearrange some items in the room. But I've changed the curtain and the bedsheet, got rid of a few things from the room supaya tak semak! Put the picture frames and the vases at the places I wanted. Oh, and the room has been painted in white. Bilik pengantin pun simple je, I want it to look descent, no frills no whatever langsir etc. Just bed, a nice bedsheet, approriate curtain, wardrobes, side table, table lamp and mirror. Most of the things are from Ikea, thanks Ikea (except the bedsheet which my aunty bought from the States).
