Jakarta 101

Went there by Air Asia. Time nak beli ticket pun AA dah buat drama, purchased in about 1 month before the departure date kot, in just 10 mins the price changed from RM 350 to RM 450 and fixed until the moment I decided to purchase it. Uhuh~ RM 100 tu beza, ouch.

Departed from LCCT on Dec 10th at night with Sab. The flight was re-scheduled twice from 850pm to 12am to 905pm and finally departed from LCCT at 1030pm, u imagine la how lari our schedule was kan. Haish. Cannot complain much, tapi kap-lam-ya-nge jgk lah.

Arrived at Sukaerno-Hatta around 12am and settled our luggage and looked for taxi. We had to pay Rp 200k for taxi headed to Ritz Carlton Pacific Place. Dah malam, so ok la kot security and all. Fad asked to take the blue bird, entah nape tak carik blue bird. Takpe la, it's quite a journey jgk la from airport to Ritz Pacific Place. Plus the un-comfortable in the flight so the taxi was comfort enough. In the flight, byk jgk Malaysian went to Jakarta for holiday.

After settled down kejap kat the hotel which was awesome gile, cetegory suite apartment la, we then decided to makan because sangat lapar and headed to McD Senayan City kot. Lepak la kat situ makan2 but the trip was a bit turned off FOR yours truly sebab my gusi bengkak so bad, it was hard for me to makan. Had to go through the pain while enjoying myself jgk la kan.

Day 1
My day started off early sbb I was not able to sleep well sebab swallowed gum, so I was awake quite early and enjoyed the scnenery from level 37 of Ritz Pacific Place. When everybody dah bangun, the bengkak was so bad I had to telan panadol and slept while the others were talking borak2 etc. Hehe. The time was an hour late from Malaysia so everything pun rasa early hehe.

We went for morning swimming (konon2) and jacuzzi and then after siap2 everything we went straight to Tanah Abang sebab people said Tanah Abang has best offers for materials. Tanah Abang ni version Kompleks PKNS version HUGEEEE! and 7 stories excluding 2 basements. Best tak best, penat tak penat la kan :p We had our brunch first kat the food court upstairs and I had Bakso which was different from Malaysian, in a good way, the soup and the wantan tu sume best. I had no appetite for anything else other than soupy based due to my swollen gum. I miss the bakso lah. Anyway, the food court's system macam debit card la, u pay let say Rp 50k then they'll give u a card, and if nak makan/minum pape, they'll just swipe the card and in the end after habis makan, u'll get the balance. Cool jgk kan :p



After makan, we all tawaf from tingkat 7 to basement 2 to hunt for our stuff from materials, kaen batik, etc etc. We were not aware that when we have finished with all the purchases it was already petang and still had 2 more places to go. Purchases kat Tanah Abang, 150% satisfied. Most of my Rp habis kat sini hehe and most things were mom's hehe

We went to Plaza Ambassador (itc) sebab the 2 girls nak see some stuff. But this time around, Fad kurang sihat so we rested, Sab and I were hungry so we ate A&W tapi kesian Fad la. Anyways, the place takde barang2 yg dorang carik so we took a blue bird to Mangga Dua. Ya Allah, macet nya teruk banget! Soon as we arrived at Mangga Dua, everything cam rushing sbb Mangga Dua was about to close at 7pm kot. Up and down carik their stuff and finally got it hehe.

We then balik to Ritz and went to Jacuzzi again and siap2 before pegi Pacific Place mall yg connected to Ritz Carlton Pacific Place. Pacific Place mall tu ala2 Pavillion la. We had dinner at the food court, and food court die chantekkkkk sangat. Seriously, ambience die best, and sebagai tmpt utk bergmbar pun chantek. Hehe.



We walked around the mall, tot nak tengok movie tapi we takut we will sleep in the movie so just pictures instead sebab the whole day we were too busy to bother about pictures :p I was addicted to coke zero and bought 4 cans kat supermarket Pacific Place hehe



Oh, btw, the jam here was MASSIVE! everywhere u go o_O

Day 2



The plan was to go Bandung tapi tak jadi
The day started off a tad bit late sebab kepenatan semalam. I still cant sleep very well due to sakit gigi. Erm. We didnt go jacuzzi in the morning, after siap2 we went down and asked the officer where to get good nasi padang. According to them it was Sari Ratu Restaurant which was not that far from our hotel but then after we reached the place, somehow tak tempted. So we took the blue bird taxi to Mayestik straight. Decided to makan kat nasi padang at this one gerai at Mayestik and we didnt regret leaving Sari Ratu sbb the stall tu makanan die best. Dahla murah :p

We then jalan2 masuk kedai and makan the rojak buah which was best jgk, pedas but puas. The fruits were fresh and good :D bought strawberries sebab nak buat choc fondue at night hehe :p Then jalan2 tak jumpe souvenirs for Sab's colleagues tapi tak jumpa so Fad went into this kedai kain to buy more kains. And the rest of us pun ikut, I didnt buy many here sebab I was short of Rp already. Just a few sebab cheap, for mom jugak la kan :p



We made friends with the kedai kaen's owner, he was nice and humble, even sent us to our next mall, tak ingt la mall ape. The other girls bought shoes sebab cheap gile. Still no souvenirs (ade pun but mahal sgt sbb standard harga shopping malls) and we walked to the next door market which I suke hehe. Bought few stuff and my fav, glads shoe :D then balik hotel, penat lah :p

Malam we went for the REAL jacuzzi, BEST sangat :D and then siap2 pegi Pacific Mall again to have dinner. Fad and I had Bakso, while Sab had bubur ape tah, weird but not bad la. We shared a potion of gado-gado ala2 pecal gitew, best. Hehe. Enjoyed ourselves to the max, and spent few Rp kat supermarket, bought a few stuff to be eaten before our flight in the morning.




Back to the suite, which was conquered by us girls sbb Fad's sister-in-law went back Malaysia already on our first day in Jakarta. Final night mesti la enjoyed to the fullest kan. So we all tangkap la gmbr syok sendiri byk2, and made strawberry fondue which kitorang melt kan choc and ate while watching FRIENDS. We moved into the bedroom and baring 3 orang satu katil on the final night and watched friends until tetido.

Day 3
Flight was at 730am at first and I woke up earlier sbb risau2, so kejut everybody and LUCKILY I woke up earlier SEBAB flight was re-scheduled one hour earlier and AA only informed me 3 hours before the rescheduled time. Hebat tak hebat la AA ni, nasib we have packed everything, and just double-checked je. Hampeh gas tul. We left Ritz at 4am and made it to the airport on time. Nasib baik ada roaming, if takda roaming, dah kene beli tiket baru kot. Duit pun takde dah kan. Aisehh

We arrived at the airport too early, kedai pun tak bukak, so takde chance bfast kat airport Soekarno-Hatta. Boarded on time (thank God no delays kan) and I got to sit tepi tingkap yeay!!




Arrived LCCT at around 930am and back to basic. Huhu. I enjoyed the trip to the max, and hoping to have another awesome trip with the girls again. Dah taknak beli kaen kat sini k. And mom is satisfied with ALL purchases purchased for her <333

Day trip to Cameron Highland yesterday. Tak sejuk sgt dah, Genting lagi sejuk. Air terjun Lata Iskandar best la hehe. Loveeeee the green and fresh flowers kat situ. Cheap and pretty!! And strawberries too, cheap and fresh! The fresh strawberry ice cream was sedap hihi :p

There goes my diet.. Lasagne at Dave's Deli, and Gloria Jean's ice blended and Big Apple donughts were yum yum yummy.. Call me a fatso.. or suke makan la, have the passion for food la amende la whatevsss xxx
