My Awesome Gemoks

Went to Bora Asmara on Thursday (29/10) for dinner came surprise belated bday for moi and Huda. The place is nice, I love the ambience. I told a fren but not these girls that I wanted to celebrate my bday at this place sebab I tak pernah pegi. But the food and service macam so-so je la. Ive always wanted to go here, tapi bila dah pergi, I am not satisfied with the service. Eventually, THANK YOU GIRLS!

My verdicts:

1. The price is quite pricey for the type of food (it offers local and western), baik pegi Chili's or Delicious or if nak tomyam, tempat I suke kat Ampang

2. Kalau dah harga mahal, pelayan tu kasi la yg 'ada style' sikit. Ini, the waiters semua bau bujang (u know the kepam smell), and tak fasih bahasa & english (siap ada accent ktan and watnot), takda style (as in the appearance selebet). Sebab when I see gambar org ramai, and my assumption, this place cam grande la.. Well, I thought la kan. Tapi biase je.

3. Portion air sikit. And KEDEKUT. Delicious pun bagi iced water. Tapi this place, u have to order mineral water. Bukan lah being kedekut tak boleh beli mineral water, I mean, not that we dont order air mahal2 u tu, but to accomodate air mahal dan the food, we would want to drink plain water. Tu pun takleh offer ke? Wth

4. Service slow sikit, takpe lagi.. Ini org tak habis mkn lagi, dah nak amek pinggan mangkuk and air customer. Bongok jugak. Courtesy tanya dulu before amek boleh tak? omg

5. Kena improve at certain places, esp the indoor seating. Dah la air conditioned, boleh tak jgn allow smokers to sit inside? What's the purpose of having indoor seating?

6. Kena upgrade sikit the toilet and surau. Restaurant org Islam, and ada 'standard' konon. So jaga la standard awk tu

Overall experience: 2/5. Fussy? Eh, for the price u pay mesti la kan.

I am not complaining. Tapi it did not meet my expectations. Ive always thought it is a grande place, tapi erm... biase je




One more thing, taktahu la mak aku tu nak menopause ke apeke. Semua nya tak kena. Aish. Seriously tak sabar nak tunggu masa ada rumah sendiri. Amende tah semua takpuas hati. Kalau ckp nak duduk luar, marah. Susah2

IIUM 25th Convocation 2009

I waited for almost a year for this event-one of the most and bestest moment in my entire life, in which happened once on that day. Oh I love everything except the kelam-kabotness.

There were 2 sessions on that day, morning session was Engineering which was Jab's event and mine was in the evening. Jab needed my favour to take pictures and I said yes because I wanted him to be my photographer during mine later in the evening. And his ceremony finished at ard 11am, moved around and took pictures for him until 1pm. Thought of getting ready at Jas's place BUT mmg tak sempat langsung!! Jam sangat nak keluar dari UIA, so what I did was, I went to my old college, simply knocked at my old room which obviously ada budak junior I tak kenal and ckp nak pinjam bilik tuka baju, I bathed skit sbb peluh gila2 fr the morning session.

And I got ready on time!! ;-)) Happy and satisfied though kelam-kabot. Met friends, and it was lovely! The best part was when we were called into the hall, cam bangga k walaupun result biasa2 je...... Hoho :p AND THE BESTEST PART WAS, Lin's seating was beside mine.... How cool is that ey? Been together since matrics, sampai duduk sebelah2 time dlm dewan.... Hehehehe... Time nak amek scroll atas pentas tu, my muka dah pucat and heart beated faster than usual, bile dah naik mmg mcm takleh bernafas langsung!! OMG... Bila dah turun pentas, sgt LEGA! And I was all kelam-kabot for that particular moment yg photographed :-) haish. Life is like this la kan.

Oh, takboleh bwk camera & hp. Tapi I brought in my hp and compact camera. Alaa, sume org pun bwk, the staff pun tak rampas, sgt cool k :p Habis je the ceremony terus pusu-pusu keluar, and I met my family and friends..... Received fresh & fake flowers and also some other gifts...... Thanks for ur presence and thoughts and THANKS SO SO MUCH FOR COMING :D

Cam-whored to the max sampai nak tercabot kaki.... Luckily I was still on leave that Monday & Tuesday.... I loved that day........ Tak puas sgt tgk gmbr convo smpai harini :-)

Jab dh balik last Saturday :-) and I want moreeee of today pls

Have waited for almost 12 mths for my convo, and now it's coming this weekend. Im excited, hope everything goes well insyaallah. My outfit for the day which is a kurung moden kain chiffon is ready and I'm loving it too bits. Love the material, love the cutting. My mom's tailor since forever is awesome :D



Watched the "ugly thruth" today. How to have a hot bod like Katherine Heigl? Hot laaa and pretty I likeee. And I loveee Gerard Butler. Sangat charming. Haish

Good Friends are to keep forever

Went to this place for my recent bday celebration. Not really a surprise, sbb I knew we were going out for dinner for get-together-celebration. Nonetheless I was happy with them around :D Added to that happiness, they surprised me with 3 cute little cupcakes with gummy bears on top. Im blessed to have awesome circle of friends :D

The "after-party" was at Lotus KL for teh tarik session. The whole night was great. Happy happy! :D

Getting old is boring.. Have to start thinking of commitments and more commitments.. Sigh.. Neways, thanks for the wishes guys.. I'm blessed with good people and good life until today Alhamdulilah.. Praying for more positive things insyaAllah :-) The day has gone by fast enough that I didnt feel special. Is it me being old and dont care much or the world is just too busy to notice?

I went for jogging kejap tadi, gila pancet after sebulan lebih tak bersenam (mode semangat jogging).. Whilst jogging and listening to lagu2 kat hp, I was thinking.. My life isnt that bad Alhamdulilah.. Yes, I bloooordy hate my job, but the positive thing is my pay isnt that bad at all all because of the distance.. Saves A LOT.. But hey, I would want a better job of course, it's just that I dont know when will be the time.. I have been believing that I'll get the job I'd love but I just dont know when.. I keep on believing until I give up at one point and regain at another point.. Den pun ponin :p

Went out with the girls last night. Berrylicious pavlova dh habes :-(









Bought a new hp for myself abt almost 2 weeks ago, which is an e71.. Sgt suka :D didnt have the plan pun, but my kid bro's hp dah nazak, battery kena ikat dgn getah so kesian, so gave him the prev one and bought the smartphone, nak beli bold tapi terlalu lari dari bajet :p

Had seafood for bday dinner, the usual which were ikan pari bakar, sotong goreng tepun, butter prawn yg sgt best, and tomyam........ homg I kenyang sgt tapi puas... BEST!

last few days of Ramadhan.. sekejap je rase, ttbe dh nk minggu raya.. wow.. ive sorted out the duit raya to be given to cousins and kid brothers.. no more receiving, must start to give this year huhu.. telupe nk set aside bajet duit raya, terlari skit bajet.. aduh.. kalau dpt bonus kan best, sbb kerja under contract x dpt bonus..cis..mmg x aci..

Bought another almari, one chest drawer and big tall mirror all in white at Ikea :-) tu yg bajet lagi lagi lari..hehe..(the almari and chest drawers to temporary je sbb nnt nk buat built-in cupboard..hehe..tunggu fulus ibubapa)...tp sbb skrang baru ada duit sendiri nk make over bilik,xpelaa..kite pun yg duduk tido tiap2 hari... in abt 2 mths, planning to get the white frame bed anddddd curtains... also paint the room in white! i likeeee, cant wait!!

went for berbuka with these girls last yday(150909) at Delicious Midvalley. Delicious is one good restaurant to go, price wise ok-not soooo expensive, food wise-best!, environment wise-cozy, and desserts wise-GILE BEST!!!!!

went to Ikea, bought a cupboard (inspired lepas tgk blog hani hehe) and i'm addicted to re-vamp my room! am going again to purchase the drawer, mirror and maybe the bookshelf and one more cupboard all in white.....the last thing in my list wud be a new queen size bed..... all in all perlukan at least rm 1k..but im excited!! nak paint the room white and the curtains also.... aaaaa....excited la..but kene bajet duit :p

LDR for a mth

As mentioned abv, we're on LDR for a mth hoho. Baru first day, resah nye mmg cannot go. Last time, I went to Abu Dhabi pun a week je, and Jakarta 3 hari.. Mana rasa sgt.. I was bz with all activities, mmg tak rasa langsung, and kt Abu Dhabi bley online and roaming so still rasa connected.. Tapi Jab tak roaming, and susah nak online.. Aduhai

Btw, went to KL with Fad Maryam & Sab. Konon nak beli baju raya la konon. Hoho. Takde maknanye. Buka puasa at Coliseum (sbb Fad nak) and then had dessert at Delicious Jln Tun Razak. Ok harini mmg sgt gemuk. Esok keje, malas!!

Wake me up when September ends

It's going to be a slow September. Jab will be in Egypt, Madina & Mekah for the whole September mth. So, no bday & raya with him. Ho ho, I will lost one company, but I still have other friends. But still, it won't be the same, that's all. His flight is on 1 Sept at night, so haven't decided to send him or not. If I were to send him, hope that I wouldn't be all teary and whatnot. Harhar. He'll be back in October(that explains the title). But if he doesn't care whether I'll be sending or not, then I wouldn't care too.

Just now, I went for buka puasa with Jab's friends at Tupai-Tupai somewhere in KL, dekat dgn BB. I don't know where exactly the place is. Btw, it was a buffet and me being me who don't eat that much during buka puasa, tak larat nak makan!!! The price is rm 40 per head, and it was worth it sebab there are PLENTY of choices, they offered varieties of lauk-pauks, western, segala jenis laksa, so many choices of air and kuih-muih. Memang tak dapat nak rasa semua, just took whatever yg mmg jarang sgt makan. Buffet is not really my thing for berbuka. Heheh.

Just came back fr sending Jab at KLIA, he asked me a favour to buy his moisturizer so, I didn't want to feel the regret of not sending, so in the end I sent him. I felt awkward obviously with his family around and whatnot. But his niece is very cheeky and soooo cute and TAK RETI DUDUK DIAM.

Jab will come back on 3 October, lame nye lagi ;'-(
